Looking forward to a great crop of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, kale and a few other veggies.

First Time Pike Fishing 2018 Season

Headed out onto Sparrow Lake yesterday, hoping to hook onto a few toothy pike. NO SUCH LUCK. Not even a bump. Completely skunked, we were.

We did, however, happen onto this abandoned resort we later learned is the old Sparrow Beach Lodge. Read its history HERE.

Apologies from Boundary Lines base camp for the quiet spell on here. Wow. What a busy year 2017 has been! After major renovations at Crunchie's place that took us well into summer, we're now sifting through photos from our Northwest Territories road trip. To top it off, Winter has descended upon us here in Central Ontario!

Our last few posts had links to our recent videos in them. Apparently the links are defunct. We've had a lot of issues with YouTube links, links in general, and adding them to our blog. (Perhaps it's just me? lol)
