We set the alarm for 2 a.m. in hopes the storm and clouds would have dissipated. Driving to a remote area with no light pollution, others also dotted the roadways enroute.
The display was phenomenal! Totally moving. Dirk captured many images. I only a few, following a moment of self-induced camera rage . . . lol.
